Basic Life Support (BLS)/ Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
At the end of 4 hour video- based, instructor- led course, learners will be able to utilize critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency until emergency medical services arrives.
This 4 hours class is designed for all Patient Care Staff, any other field that requires BLS or anyone who would like to learn how to save someone’s life.
BLS is the foundation for saving lives by the first responder for adults, children, and infants who are experiencing cardiac arrest, respiratory distress or an obstructive airway. This video-based, Instructor-led course teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility settings. The certification is good for 2 years.
Pre- Work/ Prerequisites
All learners are required to read the book before coming to the class (Basic Life Support Provider Manual (AHA 2015).
Pre-registration is required via the contact page. The registration fee is $75 to be paid on the day of the class. Anyone needing BLS is encouraged to sign for the class at least 3 weeks in advance. This policy enable us to meet the American Heart Association Instructor- participant ratios.
For cancellations, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org 72 hours prior to the program. Walk ins are permitted but no guaranty to be registered. This will depend on the size of the class for the day.
